چکیده
In this article, we present an adaptive subaperture integration method for wide-angle synthetic aperture radar (SAR) improved imaging, with emphasis on short-to-medium range applications. order to avoid full-aperture integration, traditional approaches use fixed-width subapertures, which may not conform the persistence angle of scatterers. Coherent gains over are possible if is carried out scatterers, because integrating shorter than spread scattering response across multiple subapertures or, conversely, more cause noise accumulation along useful signal. propose change-point detection methods estimate widths and consequently enhance coherent gains, resulting in imaging. We compare our proposed standard as well a recently approach. provide qualitative quantitative analyses prove that outperform existing approaches. experimental results real-data low-terahertz publicly available dataset validate claims.

متن کاملJoint Anisotropy Characterization and Image Formation in Wide-Angle Synthetic Aperture Radar
Imagery formed from wide-angle synthetic aperture radar (SAR) measurements has fine cross-range resolution in principle. However, conventional SAR image formation techniques assume isotropic scattering, which is not valid with wide-angle apertures. Also, the spatial location of scattering centers may migrate as a function of viewing angle across the aperture. The problem of jointly forming imag...

متن کاملAdaptive Boosting for Synthetic Aperture Radar Automatic Target Recognition
We propose a novel automatic target recognition (ATR) system for classification of three types of ground vehicles in the MSTAR public release database. First, MSTAR image chips are represented as fine and raw feature vectors, where raw features compensate for the target pose estimation error that corrupts fine image features. Then, the chips are classified by using the adaptive boosting (AdaBoo...
